My name is FIRSTNAME, LAST NAME and I am a member of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a constituent of Representative/Senator________________
Are you familiar with NAIFA?
National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is a national volunteer organization
started in Boston MA in 1890 at the Parker House.
The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Massachusetts has over 430 members statewide who are licensed insurance agents and financial advisors who focus their practices on one or more of the following: long term care insurance, disability insurance, life insurance and annuities, health insurance and employee benefits, multiline, and financial advising and investments.
We represent Main Street, not Wall Street. My clients are your constituents here in the Commonwealth of MA
The reason for my call today is I am asking Representative/Senator___________ to cosponsor four bills that NAIFA MA has filed. They are HD 335, SD 749, SD 783 & SD785.
HD 335 filed by Rep Coppinger & SD 749 filed by Sen Velis would allow the Insurance Commissioner to award 3 CE credits for member in good standing with NAIFA annually.
SD 783 and SB 785 are consumer focused pieces of legislation to protect consumers.
SD 783 filed by Sen Gobi would require the broker of record of any LI, DI or LTCi policy to be notified prior to terminating the policy.
SD 785 filed by Sen Gobi would require medical records be provided to an insurance company within 15 business days of the request.
