Drake holds over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career as an Analyst at Fitch Ratings in the Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities and Public Finance groups, writing and publishing independent credit research on 50 companies annually. He then transitioned to Wells Fargo where he worked as a Commercial Banking Senior Vice President. He was the chief credit officer and lead credit strategist for public power utilities across the United States, overseeing a portfolio of $4.5 billion in loans and letters of credit.
In 2015, Drake moved to Boston and joined his father-in-law’s multi-purpose advisory firm, Bush & Company, to help expand its financial planning and investment management service offerings. Drake was attracted by the opportunity to provide tailored financial advice to individuals and families rooted in economic principles and driven by each client’s personal values.
After graduating from Trinity College with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Drake and his wife spent two years working for the Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools (FOCUS) in Hartford, CT. Drake has served on several charitable boards in Boston, including DEAF Inc., International Fellowship House, and Young Life Boston. He is active at Park Street Church in Boston, serving on the nominating committee and teaching 3rd and 4th grade Sunday school. He and his wife live in Charlestown, MA and with their three children.
